Behavioral Health & Consulting Psychology provides:
Coaching / Therapy: based on personal growth models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, Zen/Buddhist Psychology, and Client Centered Approaches.
Supervision: for licensure or certification (LPA & LPCa, BCBA, BCaBA) and professional growth. Supervision is from the developmental model, which is based on the stage of professional growth needed by the supervisee.
Applied Behavior Analysis: in ADHD, Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and other conditions.
Coaching. Coaching to assist already well adjusted individuals achieve excellence and professional growth: I provide Coaching in the model of the Third Wave of Behaviorally based interventions. For more details about the Third Wave Approaches click here.

Supervision. This is a frequently misunderstood term. There are different sorts of supervision with specific conditions that are required to be present, to be in complinace with NC law or insurance contracts.
Some of the different types of supervision I provide include:
supervision for professional development of licensed mental health providers and professional coaches
supervision to professional and paraprofessional providers who are contract employees of Behavioral Health, PLLC
clinical supervision through contracts with the Psychology Board and the Licensed Professional Counseling Board
training supervision for candidates for BCBA and certificants with the BCaBA

Applied Behavior Analysis. Behavioral Health & Consulting Psychology provides Specialized Consultation and Behavioral Consultation in Applied Behavior Analysis to NC Medicaid recipients and a full range of Applied Behavior Analysis services through other insurance programs such as Tricare, United Behavioral Health, and others.
I have extensive background and training in behavior analysis. I use this background to inform all of my work. For example, my supervision and coaching are always informed by behavioral and evidenced based practices. The most common application of the fundamental techniques of Behavior Analysis are in Autism & Developmental Disabilities, where discrete trial protocols are used to teach language & other adaptive behaviors AND behavior modification is used to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
